Suppose the bucket holds somewhere between 150 and 200 litres of water.

If we fill as many 6-litres containers as we can from this bucket, we will be left with a litres of water. If we fill as many 9-litres containers as we can from this bucket, we will again be left with a litres of water. If we fill as many 12-litres containers as we can from this bucket, we will once again be left with a litres of water.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

If we fill with 6 litres, 1 litre is left means

dividing by 6 leaves a remainder 1

similarly,

dividing  by 9 leaves remainder 1

dividing by 12 leaves a remainder 1

lcm of 6,9,12 = 36

multiples of 36= 36,72,108,144,180,216,____

since it's between 150 and 200 ,it should be 180 and 1 liter is left every time so it is 180+1=181 litres
