if the circuit has a resistance of R = 15Ω, now it is LCR series resonant circuit.

so the impedance, Z = \sqrt{R^2+(X_L-X_C)^2}

= \sqrt{15^2+(27.93)^2}

= 31.7Ω

now the current, I = E/Z

= 230/31.7 = 7.26A

average power transferred to L, P_L=IEcos\pi/2 = 0 [ as we know, phase difference between current and voltage is π/2 ]

similarly, average power transferred to C, P_C=IEcos\pi/2=0

and average power transferred to R, P=I^2R

= (7.26)² × 15 = 791 W
