yes, using pythagorus theorem.
Hypotenuse²=Base²+Height²
Height of the minar = √{(Distance from the top of the Qutub Minar)²-(Distance from the base)²}

Answer:

use tan a = height of minar/ distance from students

where "a" is the angle of elevation from the ground to the top of the minar.
