Answer :- $ 18,000

Explanation :-

Given that the total number of families = 4

First family with income = 15,000

Second family with income = 10,000

Third family with income = 20,000

Fourth family income = ?

Let the income of fourth family be x $. [ Per capita or average income is always measured in dollars ]

Per capita income = National Income / Total population

15,000 = 10,000 + 20,000 + 12,000 + x/ 4

15,000 × 4 = x + 42,000

x = 18,000

Therefore, the income of fourth family is $18,000

Answer: 18,000

Explanation:

Given,

Income of first family = 10000

Income of second family = 20000

Income of third Family  = 12000

Let the income of 4th family  be x

Total Number of family = 15000

Total Number of Family = 4

Total Income of Country = 10000 + 20000 + 12000 + x

                                           = 42000 + x

We know that,

Per Capita Income  = Total Income of Country/Number of total Families

15000 = (42000+x)/415000 × 4

15000 = 42000 + x 60000 = 42000 + x

x = 60000 - 42000

x = 18000

Hence,Income of fourth family  is  18,000
