according to my opinion, I would feel guilty for not studying harder but i would definitely congratulate my friend. this would teach me a lesson that if i would have studied better then i would have also passed.. but i wouldn't despise my friend as he/she has got better marks than me. instead i would take it as an encouraging experience and rather learn from it.

If my friend will paas the exam and I will fail , According to my opinion I will feel little guilty that I haven't studied harder and in a corner of my heart i will also feel happy that my friend paased the exam and I'll try to perform my best in the next exam. I will think of my mistakes and try not to repeat it and gain highest level.
