If I would have given power to change two things that are obstacle for my country's development, I would choose

1) Population control
2) Education and awareness

I would choose population control because population is the root cause of many problems such as, unemployment, exploitation of natural resources or human resources etc. The education system of India is not very well developed so a large part of population is uneducated which becomes a liability for India.

As I mentioned, uneducated population is a liability, we need to provide education to make them an asset. Education and awareness will help people abolish some superstition from our country. It will also remove caste system to a great extent.
