LPG

Explanation:

I would choose LPG as cooling fuel because among the other three given options which are cow-dung cake & coal, liquefied petroleum gas is the most efficient and dynamic in terms of usage. We can regulate the amount of heat we require using the regulator of gas stove, it has high calorific value, low ignition temperature and leaves negligible residue keeping the environment free from pollution.

LPG constitutes of propane and butane.

TOPIC: calorific value, ignition temperature, domestic fuels.

If I am asked to cook rice using the fuel medium of cow dung cakes, coals or LPG I would choose the cooking medium as the LPG.

Explanation:

  • Coals are natural resources of the earth, and these are valuable and non-renewable and hence I would not use these to cook my food.
  • Cow dungs are organic in nature and renewable but upon burning they produce immense amounts of smoke and also harmful gases.
  • This is damaging for the atmosphere and hence I would not select this too. LPG I would choose as using this would create less smoke and is environment-friendly as well.
