The most important thing that you have to remember is to maintain proper eye contact with the audience , secondly you must start your speech effectively (by using thoughts, phrases, idioms, etc...).

You must give emphasis on your key points, i.e. major elements of the speech.

Always practice twice or thrice before giving your speech and record it and listen too , this will let you know about your time limit and melody of speaking.
