•move under the table or desk to protect yourself.
•If you are in bed, hold on and stay there, protecting your head with a pillow. 
•move to clear (empty) fields or grounds.
•Use a staircase while moving down and don't use lifts.
•Stay away from windows. Windows can shatter with such force that you can be injured several feet away.
•Stay calm! If you're indoors, stay inside. If you're outside, stay outside.
•turn off the gas, water, and electricity.
