Dear Ravi,
Hope you and your family are doing fine. Here, me and my family are also fine. As you must have known by now about my father, Baldeo, that he passed away while fighting with a tiger.
My father's job was to keep the signal lamp lit. I used to occasionally accompany my father and would sleep inside the little hut.
I still remember the morning my father went to check the signal lamp. That morning I was asleep and when I woke up my father was about to leave to check the lampstand. The area where he had his duty was rumored about a tiger called 'man-eater'. When he went to the lampstand he heard the voice of the tiger and started sharpening his ax as my father used to carry an ax. When the tiger leaped on him, my father attacked the tiger with the ax on his shoulder. In this fight, my father was also attacked by the tiger that killed him.
Now, I have taken that job after my father's death as we had to survive and my father was the sole provider of our family. I hope to be as brave as my father.
