Answer:

correct answer is c) infinite

Explanation:

because if we stand on north pole and walk  1 mile south, 1 mile west and 1 mile north then we will end up on the same position and it is same for the south pole you can check it by seeing the latitudinal and logitudinal model of the earth. Now if we walk 1 mile south and then 1 mile north then the directions will canel eachothers effect and we will end up on the starting position but the 1 mile west is not allowing us to do so, So is there is any way to cancel the westwards effect? Yes, there is, if we take 1 latitide as 1 mile and the travel through it by that we will end on the same position. So that's how there are infinitly many point on the earth. Now let us take one more example if we take smaller latitde than the above example as 1/2 mile ss we have to take two rounds of it and the we will end up on the same position. And that's how there are infinitly many points on the earth which satisfy the condition.

thank you :-)
