Friday the 13th. I was walking home, under the dim flickering streetlights. It was around midnight, and I was alone. After a short while I heard some loud, heavy footsteps behind me. I turned around to see a tall man with a trench-coat and a hat that hid his face. Feeling unnerved, I walked faster, trying to not make it obvious. But again, I heard the footsteps. Being pushed past my limit, I ran at the man and punched him in the nose. Blood trickled through my fingers as the man shouted in pain.
"You dropped your wallet." the man said holding his nose. "Sorry for following you." I reached down to help him up, still shaken from the situation. "I am so sorry. I thought you were following me home."
