Suraj bought 40 book, 16 packets of pencils, 12 pack water colours and 14 copies. The price of one book is Rs.14/-, one packet of pencils is Rs. 44/- , one packet of water colour is 300/-and one copy is Rs 28/- more than the combined price of one book and one packet of pencils. How much amount did Suraj pay to the shopkeeper?

He paid
14*40=560 for books
16*44=704 for pencil packets
300*12=3600 for water colour packets
