Amount of money they together invested = Rs.2,88,000

Ratio of the money Suresh & Ramesh invested = 4:5

Let 4x be the investment of Suresh and 5x be the investment of Ramesh.

now,

4x + 5x = 9x

$x = \frac{288000}{9} = 32000$

x = 32000

Profit of the Land = 20% (total)

Profit of Suresh = 32000 x 4 = Rs. 128000

Profit of Ramesh = 32000 x 5 = Rs. 160000
