We are given that -

length , l = ?

Breadth , b = 6 units

Height , h = 5 units

Surface area of box = 500 unit sq.

2 ( lb + bh + hl ) = 500

l ×6 + 6 ×5 + 5 × l = 250

6l + 30 + 5l = 250

11 l = 250- 30

11 l = 220

l = 20 unit

Hence the length is 20 unit
