Answer:

Rs 60000

Step-by-step explanation:

Let say Suri Monthly Salary  = 100S  Rs

Suri gave 25% of her monthly salary to her mother

=> Amount given to Mother = (25/100)100S = 25S  Rs

Remaining Amount = 100S - 25S = 75S  Rs

From the remaining salary, she paid 15% towards rent and 25%, she kept aside for her monthly expenses.

=> 15 + 25 = 40 %

40 % of 75S  = (40/100)75S = 30S  Rs

Remaining Amount = 75S - 30S = 45S Rs

Amount kept in Bank = 45S

45S + 25S = 70S  = 42000

=> S = 600

=> 100S = 60000

Suri Monthly Salary = Rs 60000
