Survey your neighbourhood and find out the various ways in which the land has been used (houses,shops,parks,etc.) Talk to people who have been residing there for a long time and find out the land use pattern of your locality ten or twenty years ago. Compare it with the current scenario and write three differences. Also analyse and write the causes of the changing land use pattern.

Today i went to my neighbourhood and done a little survey. I went to a few Famous places and found out things like how many years has it been since they have built places like that, what was it like before they built it etc,. I have been astonished by some of the answers given to me. They were quite Surprising to me.
Some of the differences i found out are:
1.) Most of the famous places before they were built were barren lands and not ideal for residence a few years ago.
2.) If i ask about what it was like a twenty years ago it was so bushy and covered with trees and didn't even have proper roads to travel.
3.)They have even built very beautiful roads for people to travel from these areas.
I have been shocked to find out how much development they have achieved over the few years that passed by. people have been developing the Landforms a lot in the recent Modernisation.
Most of the Uninhabited areas have undergone various changes over the recent years and now become some of the densely populated areas of the city. This is mainly due to Industrialisation, Modernisation and Colonising of people due to the increase in the population over the years.
