Present age of Shushant (not given) = x.... and it is given that in presnt his father's age is 4 times of age of Shushant = 4x..... and after 20 years Shushant father's age will become only twice of age of Shushant ,i.e., 4x (present age of Shushant's father) + 20 years ,is equals to., 2 times of x (age of Shushant) + 20 ,means., 4x + 20 = 2 (x + 20)..... and here x is the present age of Shushant.... by evaluating the eqn we get the value of x , i.e., 10 and then 4x = 4×10 = 40
