The statement that, "Sustainability is the capacity to use the resources judiciously and maintain their balance" is true.

Sustainability is way to increase the productivity of the organisation with using limited resources. It maintains the balance of the organisation in order to protect it from debt and loss. Sustainability can be judicious by proper resource allocation, planning and management.

Answer:

We need to use our natural resources judicially for the following reasons:

To preserve them for future generation as these resources are limited in nature.

Many natural resources are necessary for our survival. It may be difficult to imagine that we could ever run out of fresh water, clean air, and good soil for growing food. .

Theses resources take millions of years to form again like coal, petrol.

They are important to maintain ecological balance in nature like forests, water etc.

The indiscriminate use of natural resources like coal , petrol degrades our environment causing water, air pollution and green house effect.
