Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is a cleanliness drive aimed to cover 4041 statutory cities and towns all over India.
It was launched on 2ns October 2014.
Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is also known as or named as Clean India Mission for Clean India Drive or Swachh Bharat Campaign.
It was initiated by the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi, by brooming the ground at Rajghat, Delhi.
It is considered as the most significant campaign of the government of India.
