Answer:

Sue was a bold young lady. When the massive wave hit the ship, she was severely hurt in the head. Her eyes had become large and black as a result of the shock and hit, and she had a serious cut on her arm, but she did not divulge the entire extent of her injuries for fear of distracting her father from the rescue mission. Later, she tried to cheer up her parents by sending them a greeting card with her gratitude and best wishes. Her bravery fortified her father's determination to face the sea storm tooth and nail.

Jonathan and Suzanne, who were only six or seven years old, exhibited exceptional bravery when they faced death in the surging sea. This would not have been conceivable if their parents had not instilled in them certain ideals from the start. Rather than sobbing and weeping during the calamitous tragedy, these heroic children kept their cool. Suzanne was severely hurt in the head when the massive wave struck the ship.

Because of the shock and collision, her eyes had grown big and black. There was also a serious cut on her arm, but she didn't mention it since she didn't want her father to be distracted from the rescue operation.

Later, she tried to cheer her parents up with a greeting letter in which she expressed her gratitude and hoped for the best. Even Jonathan confidently stated that they were not afraid of dying if they were all together. Their fortitude and calm demeanour not only hardened their father's commitment to combat the sea storm tooth and nail but also played a role in bringing out the "best" in their Daddy, who was also their commander.
