Taj Mahal is an ancient famous monuments in India. It is an ivory -white marble mausoleam. Taj Mahal is located on the south bank of Yamuna river in the Indian city Agra.It was comissioned by the Mughal emporer shahjahan in 1632. He built in the memory of his favorite wife Mumtaz Mahal.it also houses the tomb of Shahjahan the builder.Taj Mahal was designed as "world heritage site" by UNESCO in 1983. the architect of Taj Mahal was USTAD AHMAD LAHAURI.The TAJ MAHAL attracts a large no.of tourists . Although these days the Taj Mahal is getting spoilt bcz of acid rain and other natural calamities.
