Answer:

The balloon shifts up and down because of the change in atmospheric pressure. The air inside the jar is here working as a reference point.

Explanation:

When the straw moves, a colourful paper is held behind it as a background. Now the position of the straw is marked with a point 'A'. Due to the presence of sunlight, the pressure in the air changes and the straw is seemed to rise from its previous position. When it rises, we mark the changed position with the point 'B'.

So, the straws moves upward, from poin A to point B, as the result of this experiment.

Answer:This model works as a perfect parameter for noting down the temperature. The air inside the jar worked as a reference point and the balloon above the lead moves up and down due to the change in atmospheric pressure in the locality.

Explanation:There is the movement of which is placed above the balloon. Due to the presence of sunlight in the atmosphere there is a slight rise in the straw. Colorful piece of paper was placed in the background to notice the change in the position of straw. We just marked the initial position of the straw.

The rise of the straw was marked with another colour. We can clearly see the change in the position of straw it moves upward.
