The Curved surface area of cone is 38.465 sq cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

The radius of quarter circular paper = r = 3.5 cm

The paper is formed in shape of cone

Let The Curved surface area of cone = A sq cm

According to question

As The quarter circular paper is folded to form cone

So, slant height ( l ) of cone = radius of circular paper (r)

So,  l = r = 3.5 cm

Since, Curved surface area of cone = π × radius × slant height

Or,  A = π × r × l

Or,  A = 3.14 × 3.5 cm × 3.5 cm

∴   A = 38.465 sq cm

So, The Curved surface area of cone = A =  38.465 sq cm

Hence, The Curved surface area of cone is 38.465 sq cm  Answer
