Take a rod or a flat strip of a metal,say of Aluminium or iron.Fix a small wax pieces on the rod.These pieces should be at nearly equal distances.Clamp rod to a stand.If you donot find a stand you can put one end of the rod in between the bricks.Now heat the other end of therod and observe Explain the phenomena involved.

take a metal srip and drop some wax on one end of it then press a nail to the wax now heat from other end when strip get hot the nail which is pressed in wax get removed from it due to melting of wax..
