Take any two digit number ending in 9 and add the sum and products of the digit. For example if you take 29; 2+9= 11 and 2*9=18 and their sum if 11+18=29. Is it true for all two digit numbers ending in 9? If so explain why?

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let The dugit at 10's ploace=x and at unit ploace=9

Thus sum of digits=x+9

produt=9x

adding we get

9x+x+9

=10x+9

In your example : 29 so x=2

Thus sum=10*2+9=29

So it is not correct all  two digit numbers ending in 9
