Question:

The subtraction between any two rational numbers is not commutative .

Explain

Solution:

For Subtraction:

Let the numbers be a and b , since commutative property is not applicable for subtraction

a-b\neq b-a

For example :

Let a be 5 and b be 6

5-6\neq 6-5\\\\-1\neq 1

Let a be -5 and b be 6

-5-6\neq 6-(-5)\\\\-11\neq 11

Therefore Commutative Property is not applicable for Subtraction.
