take sulphur powder in spoon.hold spoon with tong heat spoon on candle fastly cover spoon with lid of glass. open slowly and add some water in it by dropper. again cover it now test litmus paper. does colour of litmus paper change?

Sulphur produces acidic oxide and therefore it turns blue litmus red.

S+H2O-------->SO + H2.


Aqueous sulphur oxide is acdic in nature.
