iron when exposed to oxygen it gets rust.in glass A oil that floats on water do not allow the oxygen inside so iron do not get rust.in glass B it is covered with polythene cover. polythene cover do not allow oxygen inside so iron nails in glass B also do not get rust and remain same.in glass C only tap water is present.tap water allows oxygen inside.so iron nails in glass C get rusted.
