There will be a difference in the soaked bean and the gram seed which has been boiled.
Explanation:
- when the seed are soaked in water there is absorption of water by the seed. As a result of this the increase in size.
- However when they are placed in boiling water the boiling water is sufficient to carry out the nutrition and cause destruction to the gram seed. As a result of this there is is sufficient amount of respiration in the seat which was placed in normal water however there was no respiration in the other seed.
