Given : Two identical set squares with angles 30-60-90 degree Placed adjacently to form a parallelogram

To find : Verify the property of Parallelogram that opposite sides are equal in length

Solution:

Two identical set squares with angles 30-60-90 degree

Placed adjacently to form a parallelogram

Lets First Verify is this a parallelogram

two opposite angles  = 90°

two opposite angles  = 30° + 60° = 60° + 30° = 90°

so two adjacent angles are 90°  & 90°

Sum of Adjacent angles = 90° + 90° = 180°

opposite angles = 90°

Hence its a parallelogram

Now Set square are identical

Hence opposite sides are equal

So property of parallelogram is verified

that opposite sides of a parallelogram are equal
