take two pots.mark one pot as 'A' and the other as'B'.fill the pot A with soil and pot B with sand.now put seeds in both the pots.water them regularly.what do you observe after 2 weeks?write your observation ​

The most obvious observation would be that the seed which was grown in the sand had not grown properly and is unhealthy whereas the seed grown in sand would have grown very brightly and have blossomed perfectly

Explanation:

If you want the reason then this would be because sand has less water holding capacity so before the plant would have taken enough water, it would seep out whereas ground soil has good water holding capacity. Another reason is that because sandy soil is not rich in humus(dried leaves, twigs etc.) which makes it less fertile whereas ground soil is rich in humus and hence the plant had grown healthy
