THIS QUESTION IS OF WHEAT STONE BRIDGE

LET 1Ω RESITOR R1 AND R2

LET 2Ω RESISTORS R3 AND R4

LET THE MIDDLE ONE O

WE KNOW,

IF R1 / R2 = R3 / R4

NO CURRET WILL FLOW THROUGH THE RESISTOR O

HENCE THE RESISTSNCE WILL BE

1/2 + 1/4 = 3/4

RESISTANCE WILL BE  4/3Ω or 1.33..Ω

Here is your Answer....!!!

〽Actually welcome to the concept of the WHEAT STONE BRIDGE ....

〽BASCIALLY here for the junction register that is of 2 ohm ...we can apply the wheat stone bridge formula that is ...

〽If the Ration of the registers R1 , R2 , R3 , AND R4 is same ...then we can easily eliminate the middle register ....as because the ratio is same ...the current will not pass through the middle register ..thus it can be eliminated ....

〽so here we can see

〽R1/R2 = R3/R4 that is ====》 1/1 = 2/2 ...so the register of 2 ohm from middle is eliminated ...

〽so now the common connection remains ....

〽so in the above ....applying series formula we get ....

⤵Rs1 = 1 + 1 = 2 ohm ....

⤵Rs2 = 2 + 2 = 4 ohm

〽so we now apply in the parallel combination between the Rs1 and Rs2

〽we get

⤵1/Rp = 1/Rs1 + 1/Rs2

⤵1/Rp = 1/2 + 1/4

=====》↖ so we get Rp = 4/3 ohm ..

sarthakverma115: if the ratio is not equal then what should i do?
Anonymous: Then u can't apply the wheat stone bridge
Anonymous: u have to use the point potential method
sarthakverma115: ok ok thnx for solution
