Kauravas and Pandavs came for learning skills. Guru Dronacharya wanted to test archery skill of them. He selected a forest for testing them. Guru Dronacharya placed a wooden bird on a branch of a tree and said,
"You have to hit the eye of the bird. " Yudhishtra stepped forward. “Can you see me?” Asked Dronacharya. “Yes” replied Yudhishtra. Dronacharya asks him to put down the bow. Next came Duryodhan, Dronacharya asks the same question to him. Duryodhan replies the same answer. One by one all prince comes and replies the same answer. Finally Arjuna comes, Dronacharya asks him, “ Arjuna, do you see me?” Arjuna said,“I see only my target.” Dronacharya smiles and said him to hit the birds eye. Arjuna hits the birds eye. Kauravas gets angry because Dronacharya asks everyone to put down the bow and let the Arjuna to hit the bird. They asks Dronacharya why they did this. Dronacharya replies,“ While hitting your target you should concentrate on your target only. Doing that your aim goes correct ; but you all were not concentrating like which I want. Arjuna's concentration was like that which I want. That's why I let him to hit the bird."
