Vacations are for enjoyment and that's what we all do during every vacation, but this vacation of mine was a completely different experience for me. It was absolutely amazing and unique.
On this vacation, I and my family decided to visit Kerala which has always been on my bucket list because of its natural beauty and peace. We went and stayed there for a week and for the first two days we were absolutely enjoying our stay in the beautiful state but after that, the climatic conditions got worse.
Kerala was hit by a cyclone, which was unexpected and sudden. The impact of cyclone was that it caused high damage to the state and the people. I and my family by God's grace were safe and sound but the conditions in the nearby areas were bad.
We were very disturbed and sad by the damage caused to the people and property but dad didn't want us to cry on something we had no control over. He suggested that we should volunteer in helping the local people or the people injured in the disaster and that's what we did.
For the next two days, we helped as many people as we could by providing them with any sort of help with the rescuing teams and other volunteers. On the last day of our stay, everything was back on its normal routine and apart from a bit damage nothing seemed off about the place.
On our departure, we were very glad that we helped people in need and spent our vacation very differently.

Every year I go on a vacation with my family. I have explored all the scenic locations at my place. My most favorite locations are the ones that are covered with hills.
Though, there are many hill stations that are in my wish list to visit, but this time I have planned to go on an unusual vacation and decided to fly to Andaman and Nicobar islands.
There are greenery and blue water islands around. You do not see the breeze of urbanization touching this area.
