Amma - ಅಮ್ಮTaayi - ತಾಯಿAvva - ಅವ್ವAbbe - ಅಬ್ಬೆAmmayya - ಅಮ್ಮಯ್ಯ (Another variant of Amma)Avve - ಅವ್ವೆMaa - ಮಾMaate - ಮಾತೆJanani - ಜನನಿAayi - ಆಯಿ (Mostly used in North Karnataka)Akka - ಅಕ್ಕ (Akka also means elder sister, I personally know many families calling their mother Akka)Amba - ಅಂಬಾ (Not popularly used, an old Kannada word)Ammanni - ಅಮ್ಮಣ್ಣಿ (Used by folks in Mysore side, popularly with Queens of erstwhile Mysore kingdom.
