yes the tamilnadu is near the equator but it do not received much cool temperature as compared to the areas which are in the Northern part of India this is because of its climatic regional changes which are due to the geographical and physical landscape form as the cool air from the land towards the sea during the summer and hot winds blows from the towards the land in winters .
