Given   :  tan⁻¹√3 - cot⁻¹ (-√3)

To find :    मान ज्ञात कीजिए   सही विकल्प चुनें

Solution:

tan⁻¹√3 - cot⁻¹ (-√3)  

= a - b

a = tan⁻¹  (√3)

=> tana = √3

  tan⁻¹  की मुख्य शाखा का परिषर  ( -π/2 , π/2 ) होता है

tan( π/3) = √3

=> tan = tan( π/3)

=> a =  π/3

b = cot⁻¹ (-√3)  

=> cotb = -√3

cot⁻¹  की मुख्य शाखा का परिषर  (0 , π ) होता है

cot(5π/6) = -√3

=> cotb  = cot(5π/6)

=> b = 5π/6

a - b = π/3 - 5π/6

= (2π - 5π)/6

= -3π /6

= - π /2

= -( π /2)

tan⁻¹√3 - cot⁻¹ (-√3)  का मान -( π /2)  है

सही विकल्प (B) -(π/2) है
