tan⁻¹ is the angle and it is λ/4 or 45 degrees

and tan¹ is a numerical value which is 0.0174 approx

the comparison is not appropriate as both the values are different. But by solving tan⁻¹ the value is 0.7857
so tan⁻¹ is greater than tan¹

,

480 = ({20+x}/2)*15

480/15 ={20+x}/2

(480*2) / 15=20+x

(960/15)-20=x

64-20=x

44=x

other parallel sides =44m
