Given:

Tan 25 tan 31 + tan 31 tan 34 + tan 34 + tan 25

To find:

Tan 25 tan 31 + tan 31 tan 34 + tan 34 + tan 25

Solution:

From given, we have,

Tan 25 tan 31 + tan 31 tan 34 + tan 34 + tan 25

let us consider,

a = 25, b = 31, c = 34

a + b + c = 25 + 31 + 34 = 90

tan a tan b + tan b tan c + tan c tan a

tan (a + b + c) = [tan a + tan b + tan c - tan a tan b tan c] / [1 -tan a tan b + tan b tan c + tan c tan a]

tan (25 + 31 + 34) =  [tan 25 + tan 31 + tan 34 - tan 25 tan 31 tan 34] / [1 -tan 25 tan 31 + tan 31 tan 34 + tan 34 tan 25]

tan 90 =  [tan 25 + tan 31 + tan 34 - tan 25 tan 31 tan 34] / [1 -tan 25 tan 31 + tan 31 tan 34 + tan 34 tan 25]

1/0 =  [tan 25 + tan 31 + tan 34 - tan 25 tan 31 tan 34] / [1 -tan 25 tan 31 + tan 31 tan 34 + tan 34 tan 25]

⇒ 1 - tan 25 tan 31 + tan 31 tan 34 + tan 34 tan 25 = 0

tan 25 tan 31 + tan 31 tan 34 + tan 34 tan 25  = 1

∴  tan 25 tan 31 + tan 31 tan 34 + tan 34 tan 25  = 1

The value of tan 25° tan 31° + tan 31° tan 34° + tan 34° tan 25° = 1.

Step-by-step explanation:

We have to find the value of following trigonometric equation;

tan 25° tan 31° + tan 31° tan 34° + tan 34° tan 25°

We will use the following identity or formula here;

\text{tan(A+B)} = \dfrac{\text{tan A + tan B}}{1- \text{tan A tan B}}

As we know that  \text{tan 90\°}= \frac{1}{0}=\infty.

Also, tan 90° = tan (25° + 65°)

Now, using the formula above;

\text{tan(25\° + 65\°)} = \dfrac{\text{tan 25\° + tan 65\°}}{1- \text{tan 25\° tan 65\°}}

which means that \dfrac{\text{tan 25\° + tan 65\°}}{1- \text{tan 25\° tan 65\°}} = \dfrac{1}{0}

So,  1- \text{tan 25\° tan 65\°}}=0

  1- \text{tan 25\° tan (31\° + 34\°)}}=0   {as 65 can be written as sum of 31 and 34}

  1- \text{tan 25\°} \times  \frac{\text{tan 31\° + tan 34\°}}{1- \text{tan 31\° tan 34\°}}} =0

  (1- \text{tan 31\° tan 34\°})- \text{tan 25\°} \times (\text{tan 31\° + tan 34\°}})=0

  1- \text{tan 31\° tan 34\°}- \text{tan 25\° tan 31\°} - \text{ tan 25\° tan 34\°}}=0

Now, moving tan terms to the right side of the equation we get;

  \text{tan 25\° tan 31\°} + \text{tan 31\° tan 34\°} +\text{ tan 25\° tan 34\°}}=1.
