Solution :-

tan⁴ theta + tan² theta = sec⁴ theta - sec² theta

Solving LHS,

→ tan⁴ theta + tan² theta

Taking tan² theta common ,

→ tan² theta(tan² theta + 1)

As we know, tan²A + 1 = sec²A

So,

tan² theta * sec² theta

Now using , Tan²A = (sec²A - 1)

→ (sec² theta - 1) * sec² theta

→ sec⁴ theta - sec² theta

RHS (Proved).
