P contains 1.5 litres of lemonade and bottle Q contains 3 litres more lemonade than P.

= 1.5l= 1.5×1000ml = 1500 ml

quantity of lemonade in bottle Q

= quantity of lemonade in bottle p + 3l

= 1500ml + 3×1000ml

=1500+3000

=4500ml

now, the ratio of the quantity of lemonade in bottle Q to the quantity of lemonade in bottle P

= 4500:1500 = 4500/1500

= 3/1

= 3:1
