Explanation: all the seeds are dormant{ inactive} in nature. when these seeds find suitable conditions for germination, they germinate. there are several seeds which are unable to find these suitable conditions like optimum temperature, adequate water and minerals, proper sunlight, etc. these seeds therefore remain in dormant state until they are exposed to suitable conditions. these seeds have the capacity to remain dormant for 100 yrs or more....
