Every scientific and technological wonders such as super-computers, cutting edge smart missiles, satellites, robots, big machines, ships, submarines, space- stations, etc. we see man has made them all. So any thought or attempt to replace human being with technology is ridiculous.
Machines and technology cannot function independently without human supervision and programming. Even the story ‘The Fun They Had’ is a satire on the ideology supporting technological superiority over man. The author beautifully suggested that technology will never be able to replace man successfully.
Margie and Tommy in the story were not happy with their mechanical school and teacher. They hated both of them. They were so curious and intrigued to know about the past schools where children went and human teachers taught.
