Teenagers should be free to do what they like

Freedom is the first and foremost prerequisite for healthy growth and development. Have you ever seen the trees growing in a forest? The grow in complete freedom. Hence they grow so tall and so healthy.

Similarly, if teenagers are to grow into lusty youth with a well developed mind, they must be provided wholesome freedom. Though in freedom they are prone to making mistakes; but mistakes will teach them important lessons of life. Experience can be gained only through making mistakes and learning important lessons from those mistakes.

However, the experienced elders must keep a close tab on the teenagers lest they be guided at some very crucial moments. They should not be interfered; rather they should be counselled well.

In conclusion it can be said that freedom should be provided to teenagers for their healthy growth and development.

"Teenagers should be free to do what they like" - I think it is right as teenagers deserve freedom like everyone. Freedom should be given to them so that they can learn from the mistakes that they commit and can also prove their abilities to the world due to lack of restrictions on them.

Teenagers should be free so that, with maturity, they will be ready to face the real world. Instead of parents taking the burden of restricting their children to do what they want, they should be given the responsibility to take his/her decisions. Teens who take advantage of this freedom should be, and then ready to accept the restrictions. So, with freedom, comes the responsibility. And it changes form one individual to other.

So, according to my opinion, teens that prove that they are trustworthy to their parents should be allowed to do more. While the ones who breaks the trust of their parents by being irresponsible, should not be allotted freedom from them. And that lies in the hands of their parents."
