The Telangana Jana Sabha was formed in the year 1998.

• After the formation of the Warangal Declaration, many lawyers, journalists, teachers and students came together to form the Telangana Jana Sabha in  July in the year 1998. They merged with the Telangana Mahasabha to facilitated movements of the weaker sections of the society.

• It was formed mainly in order to protect labor rights. They formed Trade Unions to protect the downtrodden part of the society. Their most important contributions include fighting for farming rights.

• The Sabha has various wings under it. The cultural wing is the most active part of the Sabha which conducted various cultural events that promoted their objectives through new idea and promotions throughout Telangana.
