Frank Anthony was born on 25 September 1908 in Jabakpore, Madhya Pradesh. An intelligent student, he received his education from the Nagpur University where he excelled in English and was awarded the Viceroy's gold medal. He later moved to London and obtained a degree in law.
Frank Anthony returned to India and started practicing law. He was against the partition of India because he felt it would affect the minority communities in India.
He represented India in the Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference in 1948 and 1957. He was also part of the first delegation of Independent India to the United Nations.
Frank Anthony contributed towards the spread of education by establishing the All India Anglo-Indian Educational Trust. He was appointed as the chairman of Inter-State Board of Anglo-Indian Community. He died in 1993.
