The role of Museums to preserve History and Heritage

Visitors to the museum have a strong connection to tourism, because tourist's are a part of the audience and for a few museums it is also a large number of total visitors. It is difficult to define "cultural tourism", which is essentially the diversity of culture that tourists can enjoy anywhere.

It can be argued that all tourism activities involve some elements of culture, including the experience of 'atmosphere' of city nightlife  from specific cultural sites such as museums, art galleries or cathedral. Earlier, cultural tourism represented a "high culture" to a large extent, while today cultural and heritage tours have many new meanings and are tangible with the solid aspects of culture.

The general order of most museums is to educate its visitors about history, cultural and natural heritage or the special interest of a city, region or country, while preserving these elements for future generations. The presence of the museum is generally understood to indicate the presence of some valuable and relevant to be shared with the public. Pikarik has described that the museum should play an important role or a key role in protecting cultural heritage and attracting more tourists.
