Trigonometry is a branch of mathematics that deals with the relationship between the angles and length of the triangle. The 3rd-century astronomers first noted that the lengths of the sides of a right-angle triangle and the angles between those sides have fixed relationships. if at least the length of one side and the value of one angle is known, then all other angles and lengths can be determined algorithmically.
Trigonometry is most simply associated with planar right-angle triangles (each of which is a two-dimensional triangle with one angle equal to 90 degrees). Most problems can be reduced to calculations on right-angle triangles. The applicability to non-right-angle triangles exists, but, since any non-right-angle triangle (on a flat plane) can be bisected to create two right-angle triangles.

Trigonometry :-
The word trigonometry is originated from the Greek word 'tri' means three, 'gonia' means angle and 'metron' means measure. Hence, the word trigonometry means three angle measure, i.e., it is the study of geometrical figures which have three angles, i.e., triangles.
Here, p = perpendicular, b = base and h = Hypotenuse of a triangle.
Sinϴ = p/h
Cosϴ = b/h
Tanϴ = p/h
Cosecϴ = h/p
Secϴ = h/p
Cotϴ = b/h
Trigonometric Identities :-
1) sin²ϴ + cos²ϴ = 1
2) sec²ϴ - tan²ϴ = 1
3) cosec²ϴ - cot²ϴ = 1
Complementary angles :-
Sin (90 - ϴ) = cosϴ
Cos (90 - ϴ) = sinϴ
Sec(90 - ϴ) = cosecϴ
Cosec (90 - ϴ) = secϴ
Tan (90 - ϴ) = cotϴ
Cot (90 - ϴ) = tanϴ
