On June 7, 2018, NASA announced a new and exciting discovery: Organic Matter Presence on Mars!
NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) had launched the Curiosity Rover on November 26, 2011. The Curiosity Rover successfully landed at the Gale Crater on Mars on August 6, 2012.
Since then, Curiosity has been exploring Gale Crater Region on Mars.It has been analyzing Martian Atmosphere, Martian Soil and searching for different signs of life.
Recently, the Curiosity Rover found something really interesting. It found some organic compunds like Thiophene
and Dimethyl Sulfide 
Note that these findings do not say that There is presently life on Mars.
However, what it concludes that there is a strong possibily that There would have been life on Mars in the past.
Apart from that Varying Levels of Methane has been detected. This hints that there are some interesting geological or biological processes taking place that could vary the levels of Methane!
The Search For Life on Mars has now become all the way more exciting!!
